Summer is almost here!

I have been horrible with posting on this thing..hopefully now that summer is right around the corner I will have more time to do it! We are busy trying to get our house ready to put on the market..will be for sale in about 3 days. Keeping the house clean and organzied with two kiddos 3 and under is going to be awfully tricky as I finish out the school year! Looking forward to spendind the new few months away from the classroom with my babies in the sunshine..and coaching cheer again : ) I cannot wait to meet my team at the end of the month! So, I am finally going to acknowledge the fact that my kids are ridiculously spoiled rotten! After the last two days, we could literally toss our entire playroom in the trash, and put a new one together consisting of their new toys only. It is incredible what these babies racked up between family and and Santa!! All in all, they are pretty good kids, so I guess they deserve everything they got! Although, I will be sad that I can't use the "Santa's watching" technique anymore with haylee..not that it always worked :) We opened Santa gifts this morning at 5am, because Daddy was on shift today..which was sad, because it was Austin's first Christmas! Fortunately, we were able to go to the station later for lunch and then spend the rest of the day at my parents so we weren't entirely alone all day!

Sooo hard to get pictures of two where they both are smiling at the same time :) Haylee and Austin took turns, and never really did it at the same time today, but that's ok! Haylee did awesome..was a little ham the whole time, which is a shock since she is anti-picture lately! Poor Austin on the other hand, cut his first tooth today ...wasn't in the best picture mood. He wouldn't smile for anything, and continually crawled away from his sister during the shoot. We did manage to get some cute ones though...they are getting big so fast!

Haylee Met Nastia Luikin!

Very Exciting Day for my baby girl! Haylee got to meet Nastia...it was so cute to see her get to go up and talk to her. Little confused at first that she was in regular clothes, and not a leotard! She loves to watch her in the gym and on TV...and run around in her own "nastia weo". I am thankful she had the opportunity to actually "talk to her" and take a picture with her..I'm a bit jealous if I say so myself! It is always neat watching her workout while Haylee has practice, but even more so talking to her and seeing Haylee. Her first idol..so cute :)

Well, Haylee had her first all-star cheerleading competition today! I was extremely excited for her, beings it was my life before she became it. I have wanted to share it with her since the day she was born. She was a bit overwhelmed when we arrived with all the picture taking and everything. She is on the show team (2-6yearsold) Once she warmed up, I only got her classic "cheese smile" that is in need of a little help! She showed her stubborn side when it came time to go get her poms and leave with her squad for warm ups. Coach Chris had to carry her off in tears...I felt bad for her, but even more so for Coach. She is my drama queen! She ended up calming down, because when she walked out on the big floor she was tear free and did her routine...well her team did some of their routine. They were in awe of their surroundings and a little distracted :) haha. It was precious though! I am so proud of her getting out there! Love you Haylee Gracie!

Happy Thanksgiving! I had a blast watching my daughter and son have a great day! We spent the morning at Cj's Parents house where Haylee enjoyed spending time with her cousin, Lakotah, who will be a big sister herself come April! Later on, we had dinner at my parent's house. Haylee hung out with her Uncle whom she adores, and Austin continued to explore his surroundings on all fours! I cannot get enough of my two babies, and am so very thankful they are a part of my everyday life and always will be...Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!

Sooo Miss Haylee Grace asked to get her ears pierced...was thinking this was going to happen a long time from now. We took her despite the fact that she had no idea what was coming or that she would not be able to take them out! She did freak out a little, but it quickly passed. She seems more grown up now...having second thoughts, but she does look like a princess.

I am married to the love of my life, CJ. He is an amazing husband, father and firefighter. I am so fortunate to have found him so young in life. We have grown up so much in the last few years, and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us! We married in June of 2005 and quickly expanded our family to three in September 2006..Haylee Grace. Haylee became a big sister April 2009...Austin Jaymes.
